I love working with clay, which is essentially refined mud! I find working directly with the earth in this way is a wonderful opportunity to explore our relationship with nature. I delve into myth and folklore, and am inspired by cultures and periods of time when humans revered the natural world. I have also been inspired by local legends depicted in the Gallows Pole in creating my Coiners Stag Man.
